CLASSES

PRIVATE GROUP CLASSES

Looking for a way to connect with friends and family virtually while learning a new hobby? I've created an embroidery experience that will make you feel like an embroidery rock star. Grab your friends, some WiFi, a glass of wine, and lets stab some fabric.

CORPORATE CLASSES

Virtual corporate happy hours are so 2020. My corporate embroidery classes allow employees and colleagues to connect while offering them a unique experience. They'll leave this class feeling accomplished and connected.

SHOP MADE IN DC CLASSES

I've partnered with Shop Made In DC to provide embroidery classes to the masses! Founded by Stacey Price of People Make Place and Michael Babin of Neighborhood Restaurant Group, Shop Made in DC is a retail initiative with a mission to grow DC's makers and artists. Check their listings for upcoming classes!

VIRTUAL PRIVATE GROUP CLASSES

I lead private 2-hour virtual embroidery experiences. Sure, this is a class, but there's no final exam. My classes are welcoming -- your embroidery doesn't need to be perfect! Participants can ask questions, make mistakes, and enjoy time with friends and family -- while making something with their hands! You'll learn several different stitches, and I'll share tips and tricks along the way. My virtual classes are great for:

  • Connecting with friends and family from afar

  • Celebrating a birthday

  • Bachelor or Bachelorette parties

  • Bridal showers

  • Baby showers

  • Holiday parties

Here’s what to expect:

  • Virtual classes are taught over Zoom or Google Meet.

  • Each participant will receive an embroidery kit (including materials and instructions) via USPS and will receive a tracking code.

  • I set up a system with each host to collect addresses, payment, and RSVPs.

  • I communicate with participants, sending out prep information, tracking codes, and the virtual link ahead of time.

  • Private classes accommodate 5-15 participants.

  • Private classes need to be booked at least three weeks in advance to ensure participants receive materials in time.

  • I offer several payment options and full payment is due two weeks before class.

Class prices are per person and are based on number of participants. Choose one of my current embroidery patterns, or talk to me about creating a custom embroidery pattern.

VIRTUAL CORPORATE CLASSES

I lead private 1-hour virtual embroidery experiences for companies or properties. No pressure, and nobody needs to be a master embroidery artist. Participants can ask questions, make mistakes, and enjoy time with colleagues or fellow residents -- while making something they can be proud of! Your team will learn several different stitches, and I'll share tips and tricks along the way.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Each participant will receive an embroidery kit (including materials and instructions).

  • The event coordinator at your company or property management is responsible for collecting RSVPs and distributing embroidery kits (unless we discuss otherwise).

  • The event coordinator is responsible for communication with participants and providing a virtual link ahead of time.

  • Corporate classes accommodate 15+ participants. I've taught corporate classes up to 50 people before.

  • Corporate classes need to be booked at least four weeks in advance to ensure participants receive materials in time.

  • Full payment is due before materials are mailed or provided to the event coordinator.

Corporate class prices are per person. Choose one of my current embroidery patterns, or talk to me about creating a custom embroidery pattern.

CUSTOM EMBROIDERY PATTERNS & EXPERIENCES

Are my current embroidery kits not cutting it for you? Or do you just really want to embroider your company's logo or a silhouette of your family's cat? Let's talk! I love a good challenge.

Embroidery can be more than a pattern -- we can make it an experience. For example, using my DC Has My Heart embroidery kit, we can hold a discussion about our favorite memories of DC and embroider little hearts in those places. Together, we can craft an embroidery experience that tells a story. Seriously, let's talk!
